I am a Physiotherapist with eight years of experience in orthopedic physiotherapy and 15 years working in the health care system.
I have a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy from an APTA-approved program and solid credentials that include dual-country licensure (Philippines and Canada) that I bring with confidence to my practice.
I love exploring research on health, sleep and nutrition, aside from delving on physiotherapy updates in posture correction, movement progression and exercise prescription. I am very inquisitive on the efficacy of traditional treatments and curious to find scientific answers to them.
I consider the medically proven lifestyle change, preventative care and active management as the most important aspects for more permanent, rehab success.
I blend conventional and alternative approach to best suit my patients' needs and I currently apply manual osteopathic therapy techniques that complement perfectly with my practice.
My first research was written with a small group of university physical therapy (as we call physiotherapy) students. The feedback on use of non-traditional means specifically on medicinal herbs was positive from the Filipino general practitioners sample in my small town. This simple eureka experience still resonates with me.
I love being in my laboratory - the kitchen that is. I love indoor and quiet time, as much as I love being in touch with loved ones and friends, regular exercise, some travel and entertainment, etc. The simple things.
I enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities whether, now mostly recreational.
